Ten years ago, I had the joy of photographing one of the most heartfelt weddings at the stunning Borgo Stomennano in Tuscany, a truly magical destination surrounded by rolling vineyards, olive groves, and that quintessential Tuscan light every photographer dreams of. From that moment on, Whitney and Shaun became some of my favorite clients. Over the years, our paths crossed again and again for anniversary trips, family celebrations, and maternity and newborn sessions for their two adorable boys.
Fast forward a decade, and we were back where it all began at Borgo Stomennano. This time, it was for their ten year vow renewal, a celebration that perfectly mirrored the love, warmth, and genuine joy that first brought us together all those years ago.
Capturing this couple again after ten years was an absolute honor. Not only were we at the same beloved Tuscan villa, but they also chose the same incredibly talented planner who brought their original wedding vision to life. It was a true testament to how seamless and unforgettable this venue experience is.
This vow renewal was not just a ceremony. It was a celebration of ten years of love, family, and shared memories. After their intimate vows and a relaxed Italian dinner with their nearest and dearest, dancing carried on well into the early morning hours. The following afternoon, as warm sunshine shimmered across the infinity pool, the best Aperol spritz truck rolled in. Refreshing cocktails were served alongside fresh wood fired pizza while everyone soaked in the views, the laughter, and the unmistakable Tuscan magic.
