As a film wedding photographer who has photographed over 250+ weddings, I know how important selecting a wedding venue is. I believe your wedding photos should look natural and feel authentically you. Selecting a wedding location and venue is the first step to bring your vision to life.
Linda and Robert’s wedding, just outside of Richmond VA, was inspired by organic and natural textures, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. They used a neutral color palette of gray, ivory, and blue-gray and welcomed 120 guests for their garden ceremony followed by an al fresco dinner on the lawn at Tuckahoe in Richmond Virginia. A wooden arch adorned with greenery and white blooms anchored the ceremony site. Wild Green Yonder arranged Linda’s bouquet, which was “sculptural, loose, and organically shaped, Bear, the couple’s goldendoodle, wore a bow tie from Thomas Pink for his ring bearer duties.
Centerpieces with a dried, aged, and foraged aesthetic in ceramic vases and string lights and overhanging branches gave a magical ambiance to the early evening affair.
I’ve photographed more weddings than I can count in Virginia, DC, MD and destination locations around the globe. I’d love to give you some advice about which venues may best fit your photography vision. Contact me today!
